About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Customs Clearance Officer to manage the end-to-end process of import clearance through Dubai Trade / Mirsal II. The role involves ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations, coordinating with ports and shipping lines, and facilitating the timely release of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and verify import documents:

- Bill of Lading

- Commercial Invoice

- Packing List

- Certificate of Origin (if required)

- Import Permit (if needed)

- Submit import declarations via Dubai Trade / Mirsal II, attach documents, and pay customs duties.

- Track customs clearance channels (Green, Yellow, Red) and respond to additional requests.

- Coordinate and attend customs inspections when necessary, providing original documents.

- Obtain Customs Release Note after clearance.

- Settle DP World charges and obtain Delivery Order from the shipping line.

- Apply for Gate Pass and arrange for container pickup with drivers.

Keep accurate clearance records and ensure compliance with UAE laws.

Requirements :

- Minimum 2 years of UAE import customs clearance experience (JAFZA experience preferred).

- Proficiency with Dubai Trade / Mirsal II platform.

- Familiarity with HS codes, customs duties, exemptions, and DP World systems.

- Strong organizational and communication skills (Arabic and/or English).

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Valid UAE ID; UAE driving license preferred.
